What this is
My Fantastic Tutor by Amerio Technology is an AI learning assistant for kindergarten through 12th grade. It explains concepts, guides homework, runs practice and quizzes, supports reading, coaches writing, builds study plans, and gives parents and educators structured teaching guides.
Replies are generated by an AI model. AI can be confidently wrong. Always check important answers against your classroom materials and your teacher's instructions.
What it will not do
- It does not promise grades, scores or guaranteed results.
- It does not cover every school curriculum, and schools teach topics in different years. The topic menu shows supported tutoring topics, not an accredited curriculum.
- It is not equivalent to a professional human tutor, teacher or specialist.
- It does not claim alignment with TEKS, Common Core, AP, SAT or ACT. Exam-style questions it writes are original, unofficial practice and are not affiliated with any testing organization.
- It does not write assignments for students to submit.
Privacy
With an adult account, this app saves the learning history you choose to save. Your messages are sent to the AI service to generate responses.
- Accounts are for adults. Learner profiles ask only for a nickname, grade, optional courses, goals and preferences — never a school, address, phone number, student ID or date of birth. Avatars are built-in pictures, not photos.
- The adult who set up a profile chooses what is kept: everything needed to resume lessons, results and progress only, or an unsaved practice session. Results-only mode cannot reproduce a conversation or a writing draft later.
- Pasted reading passages are not kept unless the adult turns that on for a learner.
- Learners can see, and adults can delete, any saved session, a learner's whole history, a learner profile, or the account. Deleting removes the content from the app and from the summaries and future AI context straight away; encrypted infrastructure backups age out within about 30 days.
- Learning content is never written into analytics or error reports, and there is no advertising, no public profiles, no leaderboards, no messaging between users and no public sharing links.
- The camera, microphone and file uploads are not used anywhere in this app.
- Printing or saving a PDF happens entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded or kept by us.
- Provider keys stay on the server and are never exposed in the browser. Please do not type personal details into the chat.
What is processed, and where
We are precise about this rather than claiming that nothing is processed anywhere:
- AI provider. Messages are sent from our server to the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes them to the OpenAI model
gpt-6-astra. Those providers process the text to produce a reply and apply their own retention and abuse monitoring policies. Only the current task's context and recent messages are sent — never a learner's whole history. - Hosting logs. The hosting platform records ordinary web-server information such as timestamps, status codes and IP addresses. Message bodies are not written to our application logs.
- Operational counters. The server keeps anonymous numbers — total requests, rejected requests, upstream errors — to apply rate limits and watch costs. They contain no learning content, grade, topic or answer.
- Retention here. Saved learning records stay while the account is in use and are removed after a long period of inactivity (two years by default). Signed out or in an unsaved practice session, nothing is retained after the page is closed.
For the app owner
Before a public, child-directed launch, confirm with your own review that the AI provider configuration and any required parental authorization are appropriate for your audience and jurisdiction. A grade selector or a simple checkbox is not verified parental consent. This app is not labelled as legally compliant with any specific regulation; that determination needs qualified review.
Safety
If a learner shares something worrying, the tutor encourages them to talk with a trusted adult. This app is not a crisis service. In an emergency, contact local emergency services.
